Teknik Millard Modifikasi pada Labiopalatoskizis Komplit Unilateral: Case Report with Literature Review

Labiopalastokizis atau yang biasa dikenal di masyarakat dengan sebutan bibir sumbing atau celah bibir, baik ada atau tanpa celah langit – langit. Labiopalastokizis merupakan kelainan kongenital kraniofasial, yang bersifat unilateral atau bilateral. Seorang pasien perempuan berusia 10 bulan datang ke Poliklinik Bedah Plastik Rumah Sakit Universitas Andalas, karena terdapat celah pada bibir dan langit-langit sejak lahir, pasien sering tersedak saat minum karena ada celah tersebut. Salah satunya teknik millard yang sudah banyak dipakai pada kasus ini. Ide inovatif Millard berdampak besar pada operasi bibir sumbing, tetapi melalui kegigihan dan tinjauan kritis terhadap hasil pasca operasi, modifikasi muncul. Labiopalastokisis merupakan masalah yang harus dihadapi dengan melakukan pembedahan.
